About 400 billion VND awarded to the people credited with Vietnam’s revolution

As expected, over 393 billion VND will be spent to offer the persons who deserve credit for Vietnamese Revolution in Lunar Year 2013.

Mrs. Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has just submitted to the President for approving present value for the persons who deserve credit for Vietnamese Revolution in Lunar Year 2013 with total cost estimate of 393 billion VND. It will be divided into 2 types of present: 400,000 VND and 200,000 VND.

Specifically, 400,000 VND presents are for persons carrying out revolution prior to 01/01/1945 and from 01/01/1945 to before general uprising 19/8/1945, Vietnamese heroic mothers, heroes of the people’s armed forces, labor heroes in the resistance war, relatives of the revolutionary martyrs receiving subsidy and relatives of two revolutionary martyrs and more receiving monthly subsidies.

At the same time, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and persons receiving benefits as wounded soldiers lose labor ability due to wounds and diseases 81% and more; persons deserving credit for helping Vietnamese revolution and persons carrying out the resistance war, acquired toxic chemicals and losing labor ability 81% and more will be received 400,000 VND presents.

200,000 VND presents are for wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and persons receiving benefits as wounded soldiers lose labor ability due to wounds and diseases 80% and less; wounded soldiers loss labor health, representative of the relatives of the revolutionary martyrs; persons deserving credit for helping Vietnamese revolution and receiving monthly subsidies; and persons carrying out the resistance war, acquired toxic chemicals and losing labor ability 80% and less.

At present, in Lunar Year and on occasion of the Ward Invalids – Revolutionary Martyrs Celebration 27/7, the President decides to present for some persons deserving credit for Vietnamese revolution.
