Awarded and mobilized the 5th Technical Creativity Contest in Ninh Binh province

On 24/3, at Hoa Lu University, the organization committee of Provincial technical creativity contest held the award of the 4th technical creativity contest in Ninh Binh province and the mobilization of the 5th contest.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Van Tan, General Secretary of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, the provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and head of the provincial contest; representatives of technical creativity funds of Vietnam etc.

The organization committee of the 4th technical creativity contest received 56 solutions in the final exam. 37 of which won the prize, 13 was selected to participate the National contest and 4 solutions in Ninh Binh won out of 66 solutions won at the national level, being one of a few provinces and cities gained the high achievements in the contest.

At the ceremony, the organization committee awarded 17 consolation prizes, 9 third prizes and 9 second prizes. Two first prizes were “Improving the support in Intramedullary compression clavicular nail SIGN” by the II-rank therapist and Department of surgery Dr. Tran Duc Thuy (the Military Hospital 5), which was the solution won the second prize in the national contest, and solution “Designing and installing lifebuoy for ferries” by group of authors of the Department of Transport.

On behalf of the Organization Committee of the 5th Provincial Technical Creativity Contest (2010 – 2011), Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, the provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and head of the Contest Organization Committee launched the 5th Provincial Technical Creativity Contest. Accordingly, all technical creativity solutions for the production, life, socio-economy, security and defence and administrative reform had the right to attend.

The attending solutions registered in 6 areas including information technology, electronics, telecommunications, automative mechanics, construction and transportation, chemical materials, energy, agriculture – forestry -fishery, natural resources and environment, medicine, education and training and other areas.

The contestants included all individuals, regardless of age, composition, ethnicity, occupation holding the effectively technical solution and being applied in Ninh Binh since 2005 onwards were entitled to attend the contest.

Time for receiving contesting documents: from the publication of the contest to end 30/8/2011 in the office of Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations.
