Hanoi T&T defeats The Vissai Ninh Binh at 1 goal to nil

After a hardship win against Xi Mang The Vissai Ninh Binh, Hanoi T&T has 22 points and officially takes over Song Lam Nghe An at the top spot

Entering the game with Xi Mang V.Ninh Binh in home field at Round 12 of V-League, Hanoi T&T determined to continue their impressive streak. Yet V.Ninh Binh proved not easy being bullied and they were the team with more possession of the ball in the first minutes of the match.

 

After the first minutes, the game possession gradually belonged to HN. T&T. However, dangerous chances didn’t come until after 32 minutes when Bui Van Hieu had an impromptu free kick from far post that forced goalkeeper Nguyen Manh Dung show his skill to save the score.

In the remaining minutes of the first half, both teams had their own chances but failed to grasp.

In the second half, HN T&T used many high ball situations aiming to Gonzalo’s head but this strategy was not effective in the first minutes when the away team V.NB played much focused.

After a lot of efforts, HN.T & T also had the opening score in the 66th minute with a header by midfielder Cristiano after a corner kick by Thanh Luong.

The final minutes of the match were very dramatic when V.NB took advantage of Hong Tien from HN.T & T being replaced by a red card in the 90th minute to push to find an equalizer.

However, the away team was unlucky when all their efforts couldn’t come to success, in which the most pitiful situation was Timothy’s header that was prevented right on the goal line by Cristiano.

With a defeat 1 goal to nil, Hanoi T&T had 22 points and officially took over Song Lam Nghe An at the top spot
