Provincial Party Committee Secretary to visit and offer gifts to The Vissai Ninh Binh

On the morning of 13 March, Mr. Bui Van Nam, a member of VCP Central Committee and Provincial Party Committee Secretary, together with leaders of the Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Construction and leaders of Gia Vien district visited and offered gifts to employees of the Vissai Ninh Binh. 

In the Vissai Ninh Binh Cement Group, a representative of the Group said that in 2012 and for the first months of 2013, the whole country in general and enterprises in particular met a lot of difficulties but the Group’s employees had incessantly made efforts to effective production and business. In 2012, the Group produced over 4.8 million tons cement and clinker; obtained revenue of VND 3,300 billion; paid VND 120 billion to the State Budget and ensured jobs for nearly 3 thousand workers with average salary of VND 5.1 million/ person/month. The Group also has attached importance to environmental sanitation and invested expenditure to build concrete roads and asphalt the roads to transport materials to the clay and clime mines and roads across the residential areas … The Group also has actively contributed to social welfare, maintained football team and built and repaired houses for the poor households and families under preferential treatment policies in Gia Vien district worth tens of billion VND… For the first months of 2013, in spite of difficult economy, the Group has signed many contracts with stable and long-term partners; strived for producing 4.9 million tons cement and clinker in 2013; paid VND 130 billion to the State Budget and increased average salary of VND 5.5 million/person/month…

Speaking at the Vissai Cement Plant, Mr. Bui Van Nam, a member of VCP Central Committee and Provincial Party Committee Secretary, acknowledged the Group’s employees’ efforts and endeavors for ensuring quality production, stable business, high growth rate and policies for the employees.

He desired that the Group’s employees had promoted results obtained for last years; concerns about ensuring jobs for the laborers in the province, especially laborers in the localities under the land recovery area and the material area for the Group’s cement production; paid more attention to environmental sanitation; set up long-term plans to deploy measures of environmental protection; contributed to environmental protection of the province; maintained harmonious and friendly relation between the Plant and the local departments; ensure effective coordination, support and interaction to bring practical benefits; continued to expand the local and export markets; and strived for the Vissai Ninh Binh cement to become a prestigious trademark in the domestic and regional market and be well-known by the domestic and foreign enterprises…
